Job Description:

Static Analysis team seeks an exceptional developer for the Coverity team.
Experience or interest in building and deploying security tools required.
Job involves evolving Coverity’s state-of-the-art analysis infrastructure.
Goal is to push the envelope of static analysis for software quality and security.
Focus on enhancing the analysis product for scalable and performant deployment.
Candidate should have a strong passion for improving software quality and security.
Enthusiasm about programming languages and compilers is important.
Strong desire to learn is a key attribute for the perfect candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop code analysis software tailored for large-scale deployments.
Enhance analysis rules and engine to optimize vulnerability detection.
Innovate and devise methodologies to identify novel types of vulnerabilities.
Assume responsibility for creating and maintaining robust code analysis tools.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for the security of software deployments.

Qualifications Required:

Possesses substantial experience in either Rust (preferred) or C/C++ development.
Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Demonstrates proficiency in UNIX development.
Exhibits a strong understanding of data structures and algorithmic design principles.
Has a proven track record with practical experience in the mentioned qualifications.

Preferred Experience:
