Applied AI Analysts can leverage their data analytics, technology, and AI skills to advise clients, cut through complexity, and inspire data-driven decisions in a collaborative team setting.
Work you’ll do
As an Applied AI Analyst, you will have opportunities to make an impact on a broad range of transformative projects for our clients. Applied AI Analyst will:
- A designer will use human-centered design approach to develop artifacts that communicate processes, strategies and solutions throughout client engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software engineers, data scientists, designers, and subject matter experts to document requirements.
- Strategize, architect, position, design, develop and deploy enterprise solutions which include Artificial Intelligence components to produce effective communications throughout client engagements such as Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Machine Learning, and AI Services (e.g. Vision/Image, Textual/Language processing).
- Think critically and develop models for visualization, interaction, sensor, machine and voice or mash ups of new and existing data sources.
You can capitalize on our cross-industry presence to find your niche and begin building your individual brand. This person should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings.

The Team
The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data science, analytics, robotics, and AI technologies combined with the design thinking methodologies with a deep understanding of the user to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio leads our clients through strategic choices and transformations ahead of disruption by driving competitive advantage through humans with machines.
The Roles:
- Developer
- Data Scientist
- ML Engineer
- Designer
The Analytics & Cognitive team works with our clients to:
- Design and implement large-scale complex enterprise systems that involve data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based as well as client-owned platforms
- Deploy automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements
Minimum Qualifications for all roles:
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with others and manage multiple task assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher)
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Required Qualifications
Designer Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by August 2023 in one of the following disciplines:
- Graphic/ Communication Design
- Industrial Design
- Architecture
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Human Factors
- Cognitive Science / Psychology / Linguistics
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Invision and Figma
- Knowledge of UX design methodologies
- Strong UI and visual design skillset
- Ability to identify problems and present solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Motivation to maintain and improve design standards and processes
- Portfolio Required
Data Scientist Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by August 2023 in one of the following disciplines
- Data Science
- Applied AI
- Computer Science
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Physics, or a closely related field
- Experience with R or Python, database design, and SQL
Developer Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by August 2023 in one of the following disciplines:
- Computer Science,
- Computer Engineering,
- Information Management or a related field
- Familiarity with the agile methodologies & software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience developing web applications with SOA, RESTful APIs, and/or MVC architectures
- Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python)
- Development experience with a high-level language (Java or C#)
- Hands-on experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Cloud development experience (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.)
- Hands-on experience in SQL or NoSQL database environments
ML Engineer
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by August 2023 in one of the following disciplines
- Data Science
- Applied AI/Artificial Intelligence
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Physics, or a closely related field
- Experience with R or Python, database design, and SQL
- Knowledge of the data science and analytics lifecycle
- Knowledge of C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming language
- Experience with application or software development
- Familiarity with the agile methodologies & software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with cloud development (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Data Science and ML Engineers:
- Implementing Apache Open Source (Kafka, Storm, Spark) Frameworks to process end to end data management life cycle for NLP, Machine Log Algorithms, Text Mining algorithms
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Linguistics, Advanced Semantic Design
- At least 6 months experience working with SparkCognition, Expert System, Microsoft Cognitive Services, IBM Watson, Numenta, Deepmind, CognitiveScale, CustomerMatrix, IPSoft, Salesforce Einstein, Google Cloud Platform/Tensor Flow, or Amazon Web Services/Sagemaker, Microsoft Azure/Machine Learning and common open source scripting languages
