1. Zoom Full Stack Development Engineer Internship

Full-Stack Software Engineer interns enable end-to-end and rich online experiences for Zoom products and projects. You will be matched to a Zoom engineering team responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and deploying services for Zoom’s technology ecosystem. This is a unique full-stack internship opportunity to immerse me in a complex and urgent software development life cycle. Our Global Emerging Talent Intern Program offers additional support through dedicated mentorship, technical training, a leadership speaker series, and team-specific events. Roles & Responsibilities –

Write and push high quality code efficiently for both frontend and backend
Build complex solutions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand, refine and implement product requirements
Triage customer issues and provide technical solutions
Translate high-level roadmap vision into feasible feature specifications and deliverables
Participate in design and code reviews
Fulfill our mission to Deliver Happiness through clean and elegant code

Eligibility –

Currently pursuing an undergrad or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related STEM field
Available to complete the full 12-week internship program during Summer 2022, with a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week.
Some experience programming in at least two of the following: C++/C, Python, Java, JavaScript
Knowledge of JS frameworks (i.e. React,, Angular, etc.) as well as responsive and adaptive web design principles
Solid baseline knowledge of data structures, algorithms, testing, and software design principles
Understanding of fundamental web technologies including HTTP, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful web services
Strong communication skills and a desire for continuous learning

2. Zoom Back End Development Engineer Internship

Zoom Back End Engineers build high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that power our platforms. Roles & Responsibilities

Develop back end code in C++, Java or Python for Zoom’s collaboration software
Collaborate with engineers and architects across different teams to design and develop solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance and reliability
Design, develop, and test features and functions
Possess some experience with the development of prototypes
Work with internal engineering partners to ensure end to end user experience
Partner with technical operations teams to ensure applications and services are highly available and reliable

Eligibility –

Currently pursuing an undergrad or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related STEM field
Available to complete the full 12-week internship program during Summer 2022, with a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week.
Experience with concurrency, and design patterns
Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, distributed systems, network programming and/or developing large software systems
Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals including; data structures, algorithms and software design
Some exposure and familiarity in cloud infrastructure technologies (i.e. Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, NoSQL) and cloud based test automation solution
Programming experience in Java. Node.js or Python a plus
Working knowledge of AWS production deployment a plus

3. Zoom Front End Development Engineer Internship

As a Front End Software Development Engineer Intern, you will utilize your knowledge of application programming to extend product functionality on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. This paid internship is for a duration of approximately 12 weeks during the Summer of 2022. The program offers cutting edge projects, as well as a mix of additional types of learning in areas of leadership and business acumen– and is packed full of fun! Write and push high quality code efficiently to the frontend of our application(s)

Ensure systems are continuously monitored and running efficiently with a consistent, unified experience across products, platforms, and devices.
Build solutions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Configure tooling for systems scalability, ensure we have capacity for future growth.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business to drive the delivery of features, processes and happiness.

Eligibility –

Currently pursuing an undergrad or graduate degree in Computer Science, HCI, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
A minimum of one year of coding experience with one of the following languages and frameworks: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, React.js, jQuery
Sponsorship for employment visa status is not available for this position. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Available to complete the full 12-week internship program during Summer 2022, with a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week.
