Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

As a Software Developer at Saara, your responsibilities will include:

  • designing and putting in place multi-tier software applications including databases, services, and online parts.
  • Documenting, testing, and enhancing software systems as needed, ensuring high quality and reliability.
  • Collaborating closely with other engineers and your manager in an agile team to develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Writing clean and efficient code with limited abstraction, focusing on delivering practical and effective solutions.
  • Continuously learning and staying updated with new technologies and tools to enhance your skillset.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve code quality and maintain best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software issues promptly and effectively.
  • Adhering to project timelines and delivering software components within designated deadlines.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UI/UX designers, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contributing to the improvement of software development processes and methodologies within the team.

Skills Required:

  • 0-2 years of experience, preferably in the e-commerce solution domain.
  • Good knowledge of Python, Node.js, MySQL/MongoDB, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Expertise in at least one JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
  • Experience with Django/Flask framework and Microservices is a must.
  • Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Working knowledge of code repositories like GitLab or Bitbucket.
  • Ability to apply well-known design patterns for planning implementations or refactoring existing solutions.
  • Good understanding of RESTful best practices.
  • Bonus points if you have experience working with diverse data sources, especially NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Azure/AWS is essential for server deployments.
