As a Software Engineer I at J.P. Morgan Chase, specifically within the Corporate and Investment Banking division in Payments Technology, you will be an integral part of an agile team. Your primary responsibility will involve enhancing, designing, and delivering software components for the firm’s cutting-edge technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

As an entry-level member, you will work alongside experienced software engineers, contributing to the development, troubleshooting, and implementation of software solutions within a specific technical area aligned with a business function. What You’ll Do ?

Actively applies automation to reduce manual toil in the Software Development Life Cycle

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Baseline knowledge of software, applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, Android, etc.)
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, with a passion to build an inclusive and innovative culture
Demonstratable ability to code in one or more languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
