Job Description

Position: IT Testing

Location: Infosys Limited, Pune, India.

Responsibilities: Develop test plans, test cases, and anchor defect prevention activities. Interface with customers and ensure effective test execution.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop test plans, effort estimation, and project execution schedules as part of the Infosys testing team.
Prepare test cases and review test case results, ensuring the effective prevention of defects.
Interface with customers to resolve issues related to testing and project execution.
Review knowledge management activities and adhere to organizational guidelines and processes for testing.
Anchor testing requirements and develop test strategies for projects.
Track and monitor project plans, ensuring timely and successful solution delivery.
Review test plans, test cases, and test scripts to maintain quality standards.
Validate and implement defect prevention plans.
Experience a dynamic work environment as an integral part of the Infosys testing team.
Take on the responsibility of planning and executing various testing activities.
Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Engage in knowledge sharing and follow established organizational protocols.

Additional Responsibilities

Ability to Collaborate: Demonstrate the capability to work closely with other QA testers and project team members, fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
Test Design and Scripting: Possess knowledge and expertise in test design, architecture, and scripting techniques to ensure effective and efficient testing processes.
Test Case Development: Proven experience in developing comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure thorough testing coverage.
Understanding of Software Test Life Cycle: Familiarity with software test life cycle activities, including test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and test closure.
Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies, enabling adaptability to changing requirements and iterative development.
Analytical Skills: Display strong analytical capabilities to assess complex testing scenarios and identify potential issues.
Client Interfacing: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns.
Team Coordination: Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless cooperation and efficient project execution.

Technical and Professional Requirements

Proficient in automation testing using Selenium and Java
