The event will commence on July 7, 2023, at 05:20 AM MPST and conclude at 06:30 AM MPST. Mark your calendars and get ready to kickstart your journey with Flipkart’s GRiD 5.0!
Practice quiz round : We highly recommend participants to take part in the Demo quiz round to familiarize themselves with the platform. Please note that this round is not meant for elimination or evaluation purposes. It will provide you with an opportunity to understand the format and functionality of the platform. The Demo quiz round will be available from June 7, 2023, starting at 12:30 AM MPST, until July 12, 2023, ending at 08:30 PM MPST. Take advantage of this practice round to get acquainted with the platform and boost your confidence before the actual event begins.
Level 1: Tech & E-Commerce Quiz : The Quiz will be conducted across three slots on July 24th, 25th, and 26th. Participants will receive an email specifying their quiz date and time slot. Each participant will be provided with a set of questions that must be answered within a 30-minute timeframe. The team’s score will be determined by the average marks obtained by all team members who attempt the quiz. It is essential for all team members to participate in the quiz. The questions will cover E-Commerce trivia (Reference: https://stories.flipkart.com) as well as Tech, which includes Technology Awareness, Techstack, and Computer Science Fundamentals. The exact details regarding the quiz schedule will be announced at a later date.
Preference Selection Problem Statement : Following the selection of teams from Level 1, the shortlisted teams are required to submit their preferences for the problem statements. Based on the preferences shared and the scores achieved in Level 1, the teams will be allocated problem statements accordingly. The specific details regarding the allocation process will be announced at a later date.
Level 2: The submission phase : Teams that successfully qualify from Level 1 will proceed to the Idea Submission phase, where they will develop an Idea Brief accompanied by a video. Submissions for this round can be made anytime during the challenge window, up until the announced deadline. The specific details regarding the deadline and submission process will be communicated at a later date.
Level 3: The Grand Finale : In the ultimate stage of the GRiD challenge, finalists will have the opportunity to present and demonstrate their solutions to a panel of domain experts at Flipkart. This platform will allow the finalists to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions to the esteemed panel. The exact details and schedule for this final level will be announced at a later date.

Qualifications & Team Regulations:

Open to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.S or related Engineering Programs in all Engineering Colleges in India (Batch 2024, 2025, 2026 & 2027)
Students must register in teams of 1 to 3 members.
Batch of 2023 students are not eligible to participate.
Participating students can be from any specialization.
One person cannot be a member of multiple teams.
Failure to comply with the above rules will lead to immediate disqualification of the entire team.
