Philips Software Engineer Internship 2023 Details –
In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better
Looking at the challenges the world is facing today Philips’ purpose has never been more relevant. So whatever your role, if you share our passion for helping others, you’ll be working towards creating a better and fairer future for all.
You are responsible for:
- Design and implementation of software (on component or module level)—understand and communicate consequences of your design on the architecture and influence design specification;
- The design software on the basis of design specifications in accordance, to ensure that the software will be reliable, efficient, user-friendly, easy to maintain, and meet the (medical) quality and coding standards;
- Implement class, unit integration, and unit tests for the designed modules or components;
- Contribute to the quality and maintainability of our software stack which has to be maintained for a long time (10+ years).
- Perform work in line with processes/quality system;
- Contributing to the unit interfaces (SW), in close consultation with relevant disciplines;
- Initiatives and active participation for continuous improvement and Agile / Safe / Scrum process.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Communication skills: Good spoken and written skills – Self-starter and quick learner and ability to work in a global team setting with minimal supervision – Should be a good team player )
