Qualification
- Proficiency in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 Database Administration
- Installation of SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2/2012 and applying Service Packs
- Changing port numbers for security purposes after installation completion
- Experience in scheduled maintenance and backup procedures for disaster recovery
- Knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, and Disaster Recovery techniques
- Familiarity with database consistency using DBCC at regular intervals
- Expertise in SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Profiler, and SQL Server Agent
- Implementation and administration of database replication between SQL Server databases
- Setting up Transactional Replication, creating publisher database, distributor database, and push & pull subscriber database
- Replicating SQL Server to transfer and update data at remote servers
