Job Description

The Software Engineer role within the Intelligent Automation Centre Of Excellence (IA COE) at Nissan is a pivotal position with multifaceted responsibilities. This role primarily involves the development of workflows, where you’ll design and create efficient digital processes. You’ll work independently, serving as a bridge between our Business Units and the IA COE team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in evaluating new tools and technologies through Proof of Concepts (POCs), staying at the forefront of innovation. You’ll also contribute to enhancing our existing tech stack, ensuring it remains up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.

Ultimately, your mission is to assist in delivering the right solutions to projects across various global Nissan entities. Roles and Responsibilities

Understanding Business Scenarios: In this role, you’ll be tasked with comprehending complex business scenarios. This involves analyzing the unique needs and challenges faced by different departments or teams within the organization.
RPA Development: You’ll use tools like UiPath and other automation solutions to build, test, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. This entails creating digital workflows that streamline and automate various tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
Supporting Automation Deployment: Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with business engineers and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions that align with their needs.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring the reliability and performance of RPA processes is crucial. You’ll conduct thorough unit testing to guarantee usability and reliability, fixing any defects before deploying solutions into production.
