Job description:

  • Support software engineering: Programming, testing, implementing, documenting, and delivering software solutions.
  • Research alternative technical solutions for evolving business needs.
  • Responsibilities include programming, testing, implementing, documenting, maintaining, and supporting software applications while adhering to  Company standards and best practices.
  • Develop secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements within specified timeframes and budgets.
  • Evaluate and create technical solution options for business requirements.
  • Produce systems and testing documentation according to departmental standards.
  • Adhere to development and testing standards for Audit Compliance.
  • Follow MasterCard’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
  • Assist in gathering and reporting project and software metrics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance standards and streamline processes.

Skill Required:

  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
  • Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to function under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills — both verbal and written – and able to quickly learn and implement new technologies, application-appropriate frameworks, and tools.
  • Strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Able to work as a member of a matrix-based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.

Key information:

  • Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or comparable practical experience.
  • Experience: 0 to 12 months in the field of software engineering.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent work background.
  • Skills: Proficiency in software engineering concepts and practices.
  • Duration: Entry-level experience spanning up to one year.
