Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer in QA, you have to guarantee product quality through the implementation and adherence to best practices in both automation and manual testing. Being an integral part of a passionate team, you have to shoulder the responsibility for ensuring the software’s high quality. This includes utilizing various agile project planning and delivery methodologies to consistently enhance productivity.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive test coverage of the application, conducting functional testing for new enhancements, and leveraging your expertise in manual software testing and domain knowledge. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product owners, and quality assurance analysts to prioritize and address reported software issues. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to automate test cases in order to enhance automation coverage. Execution of both automated and manual test cases and meticulous recording of test outcomes will also be part of your responsibilities.

Skills and Qualification Required:

Applicants must possess a professional degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
Entry-level software tester with 0-2 years of experience in software testing.
Demonstrates both independent and collaborative work capabilities.
Possesses strong logical, analytical, and reasoning skills.
Effective communication abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to generate multiple solutions.
Strong teamwork skills.
Engaging with customers/end users throughout all software development phases.
Demonstrate strong technical decision-making skills.
