Job Description

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an unconventional approach that treats operations as a software problem. At Google, our SRE team’s mission is to advance, safeguard, and support the software and systems behind Google’s public services, such as Search, Ads, Gmail, Android, YouTube, and AppEngine.

  • Partner with service teams on engineering projects, 
    influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods for supporting the Google Nest platform.
  • Design, develop, and deliver solutions to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of services.
  • Drive a platform that will accelerate migration of legacy services form GCP to TI.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in system Design, System Architecture, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, and Full-Stack Development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure/Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products and services.
  • Experience with Technical Infrastructure (TI) platforms and deployments including Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Experience in programming languages.
  • Ability to run production system.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
