This position will concentrate on building end-to-end solutions in the following areas: structured text extraction from documents; entity, event, and relationship extraction and classification; conversational AI; document summarization; and search and information retrieval (IR).
Responsibities:
- Search and retrieval: Make use of your knowledge of language models to enhance search and retrieval procedures.Detailed testing should be done to compare alternative AI models for a range of use scenarios. Choose and implement the best AI models to enhance search and retrieval performance.
- Conversational AI: To support interactions like question-answering and summarization, create conversational AI services employing huge language models. Use proprietary models, open source language models (LLMs), and vendor platforms like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI to efficiently handle client problems. To provide stakeholders with outstanding user experiences, work with cross-functional teams that include UX/UI designers.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Computer science undergraduate or graduate degree or a related subject.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing machine learning algorithms from scratch at a financial institution or other business.

- knowledge of language modelling, engineering and tweaking of prompts, instruction tuning, and/or RLHF.
- knowledge of AI platforms and frameworks, including HuggingFace, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of large-scale document AI approaches, conversational AI, and search and retrieval algorithms
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities to function well in a cross-functional team.
- Experience running business-critical projects utilising agile approaches and software engineering best practises.
- knowledge of Observability tools like Prometheus, K8s, the API gateway, software load balancers, and gitlab’s CI/CD pipeline. To provide semantic search data ingestion pipelines for document ingestion, vector embeddings for document digitalization, search and retrieval, and conversational services, develop and improve orchestration tools.
