Responsibilities in Product Development:
- Understanding Requirements: Gather functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders and participate in cross-functional meetings to clarify ambiguities.
- Feasibility Study: Assess the impact of requirements on existing products and provide inputs for estimation to the development lead.
- Design Documentation: Create low-level design documents based on high-level designs, seeking review inputs from Architects and incorporating feedback.
- POC Development: Build proof-of-concepts to assess the feasibility of new technologies/products, sharing findings with the architecture team.
- Technical Direction: Offer strategic technical guidance for research, design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for critical projects.
- Design Standards: Establish design standards ensuring solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Code Development and Review: Write and review code, participate in architecture/code reviews, and provide guidance to resolve complex technical issues.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Review test cases/test plans, conduct integration testing, and resolve defects/bugs throughout the QA process and release cycles.
- Training and Documentation: Provide inputs to technical publications, review documentation, and support product training efforts.
- Project Management and People Leadership: Provide status updates on module development, mentor software engineers, set goals, monitor performance, and conduct performance appraisals for team members.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Web API for building RESTful web services.
- Strong understanding and experience with ASP.NET MVC framework for developing web applications.
- Expertise in ASP.NET for building dynamic and interactive web pages and applications.
- Familiarity with Payer Products, indicating knowledge of payment processing systems or related financial products.
- Competency in C#, a widely used programming language in the Microsoft technology stack, essential for ASP.NET development.
