Job Description
The role of an Applications Support Analyst 2 represents a developing professional in the field. This individual applies specialized knowledge to monitor, assess, and analyze processes and data within their specific area of expertise. They identify policy gaps, offer recommendations, and interpret data to formulate insights. Through research, they provide clarity on factual information and address inconsistencies in data. Their role involves understanding business issues and suggesting improvements to policies, procedures, or practices. Although their impact is primarily within their team, their tasks directly influence the team’s objectives, contributing to the broader business with a focus on quality and process enhancement.
Responsibilities
The Application Support Analyst role involves:
- Understanding app support processes and basic tech concepts
- Maintaining and enhancing existing apps and environments.
- Recommending improvements based on analysis.
- Evaluating system logic and suggesting fixes
- Defining change objectives through research
- Collaborating with development and support teams
- Engaging in testing and validation.
- Recognizing team dynamics’ role in achieving goals.
- Adapting experiences to unique situations.
- impacting the quality of the team and related groups.
- Prioritizing ethical conduct, compliance, and transparency.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years experience or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas.
- Participation in some process improvements.
- Be able to work under pressure
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate
Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
