Job Description

We have the Software Engineer opening for you! Join our Digital Enterprise Solutions – Products team, where you’ll be responsible for supporting, administering, and developing applications and services for Asset and Entitlement Management Tools. As part of our diverse team, you’ll contribute to Application Development and support for Cisco’s Install Base.

Responsibilities Include

Apply engineering and computer science principles to design, develop, and test business software applications.
Provide support to local internal clients and assist in system support at various locations.
Adhere to standard design and implementation processes and procedures.
Develop clearly defined software modules.
Conduct unit tests, product level integration, and development tests as specified.
Contribute to writing test plans.
Troubleshoot and debug specific sections of the subsystem.
Collaborate closely with peer engineers in different locations, including San Jose, CA and Research Triangle Park, NC.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Computer Science or Information Science
Strong Analytical & Metrics Based Thinking and visualization
Strong experience in Contract Management & Install Base Area
3-5 years of experience in developing web-based applications using Java, J2EE, ELK, Mongo, Python, PL/SQL
Experience in developing microservices using any of the following like Python, Node
Strong working experience on Angular.js 2.0 or higher
Strong relational database and SQL skills.
Strong object-oriented analysis & design skills.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Deep understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices and toolsets
Must be creative; be able to develop new simple approaches to complex design problems.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and have a flexible, positive demeanor.
Must work well with team members, acting as a mentor to other engineers, helping to motivate and solve problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
