Scenario A. If you are a registered user, kindly login and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Step 3. Select your mode of test as Remote and click on ‘Apply’
Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’.

TEST ELIGIBILITY
Age: Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 28 years
Course: 2 Years Full-Time MBA/MMS/ PGDBA/PGDM/ Course – Marketing / Finance / Operations / Supply Chain Management / Information Technology / General Management / Business Analytics / Project Management
Percentage: Minimum aggregate (aggregate of all subjects in all semesters) marks of 60% or above in the in each of Class Xth, Class XIIth, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and/or Post Graduation examination which includes successful completion of final year/semester
Background: B. TECH / B.E background prior to MBA / Integrated MBA is a must
Batch: Students of 2020, 2021 & 2022 passing out batch are eligible
Work Experience: Any prior work experience will be considered based on its relevance to the job role/ profile
Backlogs: Students should not have any backlogs at the time of appearing for the TCS Selection process
Extended Education: Students should not have any extended education in their highest qualification
Education Gap: The overall academic gap should not exceed 2 years. It is mandatory for students to declare gaps in education, if any. If yes, students should provide valid reasons supported by Document proof
Schooling: Students should have completed regular/ full time schooling only. Students who have completed their Secondary and / or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the other courses are full time

The test consists of 47 questions that have to be answered in 90 minutes.
It comprises the following sections:

Q. Where can I register for TCS Hiring Year Of Passing 2020,2021 & 2022?
A. To register, fill the form and please ensure you “Apply for Drive”
Q. I am not able to find the ‘Apply for Drive’ option. What should I do?
A. Once you complete filling your application form, log out and log in again.
Then click on apply for drive.
If you are not getting the ‘Apply for drive’ option, please check the below:
a) If you have completed/submitted your application form
b) If you have erroneously registered as BPS instead of IT (If you have mistakenly registered under BPS domain, then re-register under IT domain using your own alternate email id)
c) Check your qualification in the Application form
d) Check the ‘Year of Passing’ you have entered in the Application form
Q. What is the exam-pattern of TCS Hiring Year Of Passing 2020, 2021 & 2022?
A. The TCS MBA Hiring Drive is a 90-minutes test that will focus on Verbal Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude and Business Aptitude

Q. When will I receive my Login credentials for Test?
A. You will receive the Login Credentials two days prior to the date of the Test (subject to the validity of your candidature) of TCS MBA Hiring YOP 2020,2021 & 2022 on completion of the below mentioned steps:
a) Completing the Application Form & Clicking on ‘Apply For Drive’
b) You are being shortlisted on the basis of the TCS Eligibility criteria

A. Interview schedule will be communicated to the shortlisted students (Based on the test performance) on your registered e-mail id

Q. I have forgotten my CT / DT Reference ID, where do I get it ?
A. You would have got a mail upon successful registration in https://nextstep.tcs.com. The Reference ID would be mentioned in the same
Q. My college has CGPA grading system. However, in my application form, there is only an option to update my marks. What should I do?
A. Please convert CGPA into marks as per the guidelines prescribed by your university/applicable in your state and complete the application form
Q. Can I change my photo in the application form?
A. Yes, you can change your photograph before you ‘Submit the Application Form’. Please follow the instructions carefully while uploading the photograph
Q. Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes in my profile?
A. Yes, but you can make changes on a few editable fields (Academic marks and duration) on your profile only
Q. I already have my CT/DT number. I need to update my marks/CGPA in my application form. How can I do so?
A. You can edit the details by clicking “Edit Application form” in the Next Step portal

Q. I already have my CT/DT number. Can I make changes to my Name/Date of Birth/Title/Address/Email ID/Telephone Number?
A. Sorry, no changes can be made to the above field(s) once your profile has been created
Q. I am not able to download my Application Form from the NextStep Portal.
A. Please upload your photo and CV once again as per the prescribed format and then preview your Application Form. This would also allow you to download your Application Form
Q. I have created 2 profiles. What should I do now?
A. Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate. Duplicate profile should not be created. You will need to write to ilp.support@tcs.com for the deletion of your duplicate profile
Q. I am getting an error while updating my X (10th) or XII (12th) Standard details in the application form. What should I do?
A. You need to enter minimum 9 months in your X (10th) standard & 12th standard course duration details
Q. I had backlogs during my graduation. However, I have now cleared all my backlogs. Am I eligible to appear for the Process?
A. You should not have any pending backlogs and not have extended Education in X, XII, UG & PG to be eligible for the Process
Q. Can I choose my domain or function I would like to work in?
A. Your selection and allocation will depend on your skills and the present requirements. You can, however, share your preference and we will try to take it into consideration
Q. Does TCS provide accommodation to selected candidates?
A. At present, TCS does not provide any accommodation to candidates
Q. In case of relocation, who will incur the travelling expenses?
A. During relocation, travelling expenses will have to be incurred by the candidate
Q. Does TCS provide transport facility?
A. Yes. During the day, you can avail our centralized pick and drop facility. Candidates working in night shifts will be provided a home pick-up and drop service
Q. I am not able to participate in the test as mentioned in schedule. Can I change the timing of the test?
A. Sorry, the test time and date are final
Q. How will we get the results of the TCS Hiring 2022?
A. The results of the TCS MBA Hiring will be shared on your registered email ID
Q. Is this a full-time or part-time job?
A. The career opportunities presented are full-time jobs
Q. Do I have to incur any cost to appear for the TCS Hiring 2022?
A. Certainly not. TCS does not charge for any of its hiring process
Q. I have wrongly created my profile under ‘BPS’. What should I do now?
A. If you have incorrectly created your profile under BPS, you will need to create your profile under ‘IT’ once again using your own alternate Email ID. If you want to get your BPS profile deleted, please send a mail to ilp.support@tcs.com
Q. I am not able to edit the Full Time/Part time course in my Application Form. What should I do?
A. If you are not able to edit the Full time/Part time course in the Application form, you will need to create your profile once again using your alternate email ID
Q. My account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A. Request you to directly log on to https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#/
Click the “Unlock Account & Reset Password” link on the Login screen. You will receive an auto-generated email for resetting the password after 15 minutes.
Please do not click on the link repeatedly as every time you click on the link, the previous password expires and a new password is generated and sent to your registered email address.
Request you to use a Desktop/Laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer/Google Chrome
Q. I am a 2020/2021 passout. I have got an Offer Letter, when do I need to join?
A. The joining will be immediate and will be done in batches, the Onboarding Team shall keep you updated periodically about the progress
Q. When will I be informed of my joining date?
A. On successfully clearing the TCS interview process, you will be informed of your joining date by mail or call
Q. What will be my work location?
A. Your joining location will be discussed with you during the interview process, and your location preference will be taken into consideration. However, the final location assigned would be at the sole discretion of TCS depending on business needs
